Last Thursday, I couldn’t believe that it’s already the end of February, but I realized this means the arrival of the 88th Academy Awards Gala. 🙂

So I became really excited about the Oscars, and not just because of the red carpet fashion. But I also hoped that Leonardo DiCaprio finally gets his golden statue and the Hungarian movie, Son of Saul wins in the foreign-language film category. I was so grateful and delighted that they both won. ❤

 

I followed the arrivals of the beloved celebrities, and I picked up many great and stylish looks to my best-dressed list. However, the ‘colorless’ of the gowns came by surprise. Compare to the previous years – there were only a few red, pink, purple, or other brighter shades, so white, black, and blue colors dominated the red carpet with some pop of warms like yellow on winner Alicia Vikander or orange on Olivia Munn.

 

 

I totally love how Lady Gaga‘s red carpet style evolved in the last couple of years, and I think this diva kind of chic looks really good to her. So I adore this exciting white pantsuit with a long trail from Brandon Maxwell. Check out how her feminine curls reflect on the sweetheart bustier of her outfit. 

 

 

 

Cate Blanchett was stylish and adorable as usual in her mint and floral embellishment Armani gown. This color is so fresh and charming and fits well for any Light Summer women. And the cut of the dress is so classic and elegant and of course, suits her figure perfectly. I enjoy her dress choices so much – always classy but with a daring and exciting touch.

 

 

 

Deep emerald on an Irish girl, what a pretty combination! 🙂 I love this glitzy Calvin Klein column dress on Saoirse Ronan. The style is simply elegant but glamorous at the same time. I especially like her effortless hairstyle and minimal jewelry.

 

 

My other big favorite actress, Naomi Watts, showed up excellent, what else? 🙂 However, I could imagine another lipstick color on her with the sparkling, and a little bit vintage midnight blue Armani Privé dress. The literally statement Bulgari diamond necklace was breathtaking as well!

 

 

And I can’t stop admiring Jennifer Garner‘s exciting black Atelier Versace gown. To be honest, I contradict myself here a little bit because black is not her perfect color, but fortunately, and thanks to the low cut of the dress, the shade isn’t close to her face to look overwhelming. And the back of the dress was also stunning!
