In my yesterday post, I showed you my favorite light color gowns from the Oscars now take a look at the dark-colored and the colorful dresses.
There were a couple of black and navy gowns, and I liked that the A-list celebrities also wore green, my fave color, on the red carpet.
I especially loved Olga Kurylenko’s dress that wasn’t just red and flawless but eco-friendly as well. I so appreciate the awareness of sustainable fashion by famous people. This stylish dress proves you can be gorgeous and can protect the environment at the same time. This beautiful gown was designed by Alice Elia, a student at ESMOD in Paris, and has a connection with Suzy Amis Cameron’s Red Carpet Green Dress campaign. She also wore a limited edition, vegan shoe, a faux suede, metallic-trimmed heel resulting from a collaboration between PETA and ethical U.K.-based footwear label Beyond Skin. Thank you, Olga, you are fantastic! 🙂
The other dress I liked very much was worn by Sandra Bullock, a glamorous navy Alexander McQueen gown. I also loved Charlize Theron in a marvelous and exciting black mermaid Dior dress.
The ultimate best dressed in the awards season and my personal favorite was Lupita Nyong’o. She wore an icy blue Prada design. Mommy-to-be Olivia Wild wore a great Valentino black dress with white accessories.
