It’s January and last Sunday the red carpet season, hmm, the Awards season has started with the annual Golden Globes Gala sooo it’s time to see many-many beautiful dresses on our favorite A-list celebrities.
I loved many-many dresses, but unfortunately, some of my fave stars missed the color of their beautiful gowns. 🙁 That’s why I will share another post on this topic because it will be an excellent opportunity to see how a more flattering color changes someone’s outfit.
Overall the red carpet welcomed colorful dresses, and as I saw the Versace House won the ‘Fashion Golden Globe Award’ because they dressed nearly ten celebrities.
My top five ladies:
And now, let’s start with my top five choices. My absolute winner was Jessica Chastain in her bronze Atelier Versace dress and perfect makeup. Both the color and the glamorous style fitted her pretty Warm Spring look.
Reese Witherspoon is standing in the second place of my imaginary three-level podium. She wore a sparkling soft white Calvin Klein dress with awesome Tiffany jewelry. Her make up was also fabulous, loved her rosy cheeks and lipstick.
My bronze medal winner is Heidi Klum, who looked stunning in this exciting cut red Atelier Versace gown. Her hair and make-up were also glamorous as usual. I loved her red lipstick because it was an excellent choice for her Warm Spring palette.
I also adored Emma Stone’s look with the pretty bow detailed Lanvin jumpsuit. So unique and romantic at the same time as a typical Clear Spring design should look like. Her makeup and hair were effortless and pretty, as well — beautiful and youthful choice Emma. Congrats! 🙂
And last but not least, a perfect and elegant mature style from supermodel Cindy Crawford. Her royal blue Versace dress was breathtaking, tastefully sexy and fitted her figure so well.
Other fabulous ladies:
And now, I organized my best picks by their probable seasonal palettes. So first here are the Springs – they should wear light, warm and bright colors, and basically romantic style gowns.
Jane Fonda in Versace
stylish and exciting dress, perfect for her age and probably Clear Spring palette
Joanne Froggatt in Marchesa
I’m not 100% sure that she is a Spring, but this dress is definitely pretty and romantic
and I’m soooo happy that she won! love her strong character in Downton Abbey
Katherine Heigl in Zac Posen
this shade fits her Warm Spring look so much, and I also liked the design, oh yeah Zac Posen ♡
Rosamund Pike in Vera Wang
a daring and exciting dress that fits for a Clear Spring
Sienna Miller in Miu Miu
she seems to be a Light Spring or Light Summer here, and this lovely gown is best for women with these palettes
Anna Faris in Reem Arca
she seems Light Summer at most of her photos on google, but this dress would fit better for a Light Springs with its beige color and classic design
Greer Grammer in Lorena Sarbu
another awesome Light Spring dress
Now let’s see my favorite Summer outfits. Summer women have a classic and elegant style with soft and muted colors.
Amy Poehler in Stella McCartney
she sometimes looks like a Spring, but this design is rather a Summer look. It’s classic and sophisticated maybe a little bit too bright
Emily Blunt in custom Michael Kors
I think she’s a Cool Summer despite her reddish-brown hair, and this white dress is also a lovely style for women with this palette – elegant and casual
Katie Holmes in Marchesa
finalllyyyyyy, she wore a perfect color for her deep Soft Summer palette. I absolutely loved it!
Dakota Johnson in Chanel Couture
I think she is a Cool Summer or Cool Winter, so this sparkling silver gown was a perfect and stunning choice
A couple of Autumn celebrities coming now. This seasonal color palette has vibrant and warm colors, and its style is natural and casual.
Leslie Mann in Kaufman Franco
She was my favorite; I simply loved her elegant and bright dress and the harmony between her accessories and the color of her eyes. Superb!
Felicity Huffman in Lorena Sarbu
she can be a Soft Autumn, so this light and the simply elegant dress could fit her palette
Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad
she pulled a sexy and daring dress as always, typical Deep Autumn design, but could be better in a darker shade
Maria Menounos in Gabriela Cadena
pretty color and fabulous style for a Deep Autumn woman
Lana Del Rey in Versace
many magazines put her in the worst dressed list, but I like this warm turquoise dress and 60s inspired hairdo on her
And finally, Winters come. The colors of the Winter season are vivid, clear, and cool, and the style is basically dramatic. This style means unusual cuts or color combinations. Only Winter women can wear black and pure white without a washed out look.
Julia Goldani Telles in Carmen Mare Valvo
absolutely love this bright and shiny blue dress, and her lipstick is also fabulous. It’s a real Clear Winter outfit!
Felicity Jones in Christian Dior
this is another princess dress and lovely color for a Clear Winter women
Helen Mirren in Dolce and Gabbana
awesome, glamorous, and perfect as always. I love her proper style for her age
Jenna Dewan-Tatum in Carolina Herrera
super, light yellow shade and pretty design for a Winter woman
Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Narciso Rodriguez
stylish, elegant and relaxed, love it
Julianna Margulies in Ulyana Sergeenko
great color and a hint of romantic style, perfect for Clear Winters
Kelly Osborne in Edition by Georges Chakra
I think she is naturally a Cool Summer, but she enhanced her dramatic side to become a Cool Winter, and her style is becoming more and better
Kerry Washington in Mary Katrantzou
perfect color combo for Deep Winter women, however, the dress would be much better in a floor-length style
Laura Prepon in Christian Siriano
black, exciting and romantic still a Clear Winter look
Lorde in Narciso Rodriguez
exciting and stylish with a great statement necklace and red lips, well done, Lorde!
Maura Tierney in Jenny Packham
another perfect color and gown style for any Deep Winter women
Salma Hayek Pinault in Alexander McQueen
she’s like a princess 🙂 this dress is more romantic than natural (Deep Winters’ style is dramatic-natural), but it’s adorable after all
Viola Davis in Donna Karan Atelier
the color, the style, the lipstick color, and all the accessories fit her Deep Winter style perfectly
Lupita Nyong’o in Giambattista Valli
pretty, exciting and dramatic dress, I also loved her purple eye makeup and lipstick color
