It’s January and the beginning of the awards ceremonies season. Can’t wait to check the ladies in their beautiful gowns 🙂

Here are my favorites from the Golden Globes gala.

 

The number one actress for me was nominee Naomi Watts in her hit color of fall, oxblood Zac Posen’s long-sleeved dress. The cut of the gown was so amazing and elegant.

 

I really liked Julianne Moore‘s simply elegant Tom Ford black and white dress as well as Jodie Foster‘s, recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille Award, glittery navy blue sequin Giorgio Armani gown. 

 

 

Nicole Kidman and Kate Hudson were stunning in Alexander McQueen black and gold dresses. Both gowns have interesting and memorable details – the swarm and waistline on Nicole’s gown and the collar on Kate’s dress.

 

Always gorgeous Helen Mirren chooses a perfect dress for this event as well, a long-sleeve Badgley Mischka gown. 

Several actresses wore colorful gowns. Personally, I found lovely French star, Marion Cotillard‘s unusual orange Dior and Jennifer Lawrence‘s also Dior Haute Couture coral and princess style dress charming.
