Black doesn’t fit for everybody; this is a great myth. Only Winter seasonal color women can wear it without looking washed out and maybe Clear Springs (Spring-Winter).
So if you have a Spring, Summer, or Autumn seasonal palette you shouldn’t wear black close to your face, you can wear it as accessories or skirts/pants.
Although many celebrities wear black dresses, I suggest you don’t follow them. If you are a Summer seasonal color woman you can replace black with pretty dark grey if you are a Spring woman, you should choose the excellent midnight blue shade. And if you are an Autumn woman, you can also wear midnight blue or dark chocolate brown instead of black.
So let’s see some gorgeous dresses 🙂
First, here are my top five.
As I mentioned in my last post, I think Barbara Palvin is a Cool Summer (Summer-Winter), but this low neckline detailed, and the sheer dress looks great on her.
Blake Lively is probably a Light Spring (Spring-Summer), so she shouldn’t wear black, but in this black and white Gucci gown, she was flawless. This outfit was one of my ultimate favorite, so elegant, so classic, so breathtaking. 🙂
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is most likely a Soft Autumn (Autumn-Summer), but I am not 100% sure. So she should also choose another color, but this dress also had a big décolletage, so black isn’t too close to her face.
I think Paz Vega and Dita Von Teese are both Winters.

Lovely Jennifer Lawrence is probably a Clear Spring (Spring-Winter). Sophia Lauren is an Autumn, and I think Cheryl Cole is also. Ex-first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy seems to be a Summer, but they both looked awesome.

I think the following celebrities are Winters, so they can comfortably wear black and monochrome dresses. I loved all their looks.
Audrey Tautou in a geometric print Prada dress |
Coco Rocha in a dress by IRFE |
Sofia Coppola in a floral print Marc Jacobs dress |
Monica Bellucci in a Dolce & Gabbana black lace dress |
Sonam Kapoor in an Elie Saab Couture gown and Chopard jewelry |
Zoe Saldana in a dress from Jason Wu |
